Lindsay Herlihy

Lindsay is a freelance biologist and naturalist-educator in the northeastern United States. She contributes to the field efforts of multiple projects, including Common Nighthawk breeding monitoring and behavior studies through the Audubon Society of New Hampshire. She has also been banding songbirds for over 20 years, and recently established a new banding station focused on monitoring breeding bird populations and migrating Northern Saw-Whet Owls in the shadow of Mount Kearsarge. Lindsay is happiest in the field, quietly observing nature, but she also loves to share her knowledge and passion for the avian world with students of all ages.
