Code of Conduct & Policies

Please review the following code of conduct carefully.

1. We are committed to maintaining a safe space for people of all backgrounds, especially marginalized groups including Indigenous peoples, racial minorities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. There is zero tolerance for bigotry or hate. Racist, sexist, and/or culturally insensitive comments will result in having your site membership immediately and permanently revoked. 

2. If you at any time have concerns regarding the safety of this site, feel free to directly contact the site managers. We also provide an anonymous form for attendees to voice their concerns and suggestions. (Please note that form submissions may not be able to be addressed as promptly as private messages). 

3. The forums space is for nightjar-related discussions only. Please keep contain discussion to relevant subjects or your thread may be removed. Removal is decided at the discretion of the site managers and GNN steering committee.

4. For native English speakers: please remember that this is an international group, and English is not the primary spoken language for many of our participants. It is therefore encouraged that you please speak slowly and clearly and enunciate as best you can when sharing recorded content. Please include captions and/or transcripts whenever possible.

5. Please be patient with the site managers as we do our best to keep things on the site run smoothly and strive for inclusivity. We are open to feedback .
