The Global Nightjar Network (GNN) is a group of researchers and practitioners from across the world that study birds in the genus Caprimulgiformes. The purpose of this group and platform is to facilitate the ability to connect, provide resources, and support global conservation efforts.Â
On this website, you will find links and details about the annual meetings, databases (like a research inventory, library of information sources, and job board), a photo library, additional resources (mission statement, steering committee members, etc.), and ways to support the organization and buy merchandise.Â
We appreciate all the hard work by individuals on nightjar research and conservation, and we look forward to building and supporting a global community! Welcome to all things nightjars!
Welcome!

I’ve just booked up to attend this year’s Global Nightjar Network online conference in November… I love nightjars! 😀
